I'm working on a new pair of socks for me. I'm using yarn that Jules bought me for Christmas: Noro Solk Garden Sock. Nice yarn. Had to restart because I had cast on my usual 64 sts on 2.25mm needles, I had to go down to 56 sts. The Noro is thicker than the usual fingering weight. I'm hoping that because there are less stitches, the yarn will go further!
Can't get a decent photo of the colours tonight though, will have to try again tomorrow.

Ooo, new socks - how nice. When I have finished my monogamous project I need to start a pair of socks for me. I have no handmade socks and my commercial socks are all wearing out.
It feels like sockmania at the moment, but that might be because I'm knitting socks as well (which I rarely do).
These wouldn't be a last minute Bendigo project, by any chance?
It is cold enough to wear four socks at a time. Socks are comfort knitting for me!!
