2011 FO#3 - Arden fingerless gloves

This is the matching fingerless gloves made as part of a set for a friend to go with the hat I finished up at the beginning of the year.  They worked really well, only had to pull one of them back to the thumb once because somehow I ended up with one extra row in there somewhere which showed up at the top of the central large cable.  Had to be done :-)

Shown here with one facing down and one facing up.  The recipient is happy with them as well which is fantastic!

Pattern: Arden fingerless gloves by Mikka Tokuda-Hall.
YarnManos Del Uruguay, Wool Classica
Needles: 5.0mm Knit Pro interchangeables with Nickel tips.
Started: 16 January, 2011
Finished: 22 January, 2011
Mods: Lots!  These were made for a petite friend so in the end used the pattern as a base and her supplied measurements as a guide.  Complete list of mods on the Ravelry project page.
Comments: These are lovely and warm.  The Manos is a really strong single ply yarn which I was pleased to knit with as it didn't feel like it was stretching during the cables at all.  Almost tempted to make a pair for myself.  The pattern itself was very easy to follow and easy to remember as well which is always a bonus :-)
