Soup

I need a way of getting vegies into number three child who is reluctant....I've found out he will eat soup.

So anyone got any nice soup recipes?? Links are fine, whatever comes, I need some inspiration.

It might be a week of soup around here sometime soon!!

I can't help with links, but I bought a great cookbook just for Soup - called Soup (not surprisingly) - from one of those bookstalls that pop up in shopping centres every so often - it was only $5-10 I think, and it has lots of great recipes. Maybe you can find something like that?

Since the only home-made soup I eat is German Potato Soup (which is made with spuds, onions, bacon and sour cream) I probably wouldn't be much help on the veggie question!

Good luck!

I make soup from any vegetable, sweat it with a little onion, add some stock and whiz it up. You can add cheese, some cream or milk, and toast!! Happy Souping.

Stephanie Alexander has good (and easy) recipes for potato and leek soup and pea and ham soup in the Cooks Companion if you're able to get hold of that, and Michelle Curtis & Allan Campion have a few cookbooks which have great soup recipes (especially kid friendly in Everyday in the Kitchen). Maybe your library might have copies?

Try taste.com.au. They have some great recipes for soup and you can usually add more vegies to all of them. Some of my favs:
